Went into the dealers to see the 08 Streetglide and to check out the new changes i've been reading about... First of all is the new color reds... absolutly gorgous.. I have a black 07 and just love it, but that red....
The tank looks just fine, the chrome dash/tank cover is contoured back at the front, looks really custom.. altho the tank looks a bit shorter, I think it's because if a bit fatter... but over all it's just fine...
Took the left side bag off and it had IDS.. (so HD did find a fix or a band aid...)
The bike had ABS but it was un noticeable...
I ask why not a SE Streetglide and was informed maybe next year...
We went to the back and I saw an 08 SE Ultra.. 110, and all the trimmings... a lot of new things on the 08 ultra, seat, crashbar paint schemes.. etc..
I told my salesman to get the se ready for me tommorrow, ( don't think he was listening though..)
All in all the best up's for HD this year is the IDS, new seats, ABS, COLOR and the Tank... It's all GOOD!...
Believe me, the SE Ultra is one bad a$$ machine... and I think it's gonna be my next ride...
I saw red '08 red sun blow sg a couple of weeks ago. It was the first time I have ever liked a red Harley. If I could have swung it, it would be in the garage, next to the rk custom.
