Hello gents, just wanted to grt an opinian on purchasing a battery for my 2016 Road Glide, and do I need to disconnect the main fuse in order to avoid and electrical issues?
When you remove the battery, always disconnect the negative cable first. (It's usually black, and the corresponding terminal on the battery is normally marked with a “-” sign). If you switch this order, nothing bad will happen — if you don't make contact between the positive side of the circuit and the ground
Pull the left side cover. In the fuse block it will be the biggest one. Mine is 50A. I clean the contacts and put dielectric grease on it when I reinstall it.
Its time to replace the battery in your ride. If your bike has a security system on it and you dont want to listen to the siren while you change your battery heres what to do.
No Alarm Battery Replacement!

Have fob near, put main fuse back in.
Turn bike on and check that everything is working correctly.
