Default Towing

I am considering using a towing cradle(front wheel sits in cradle)with 2" receiver to tow my 2005 Ultra to North Carolina.
Has anyone ever used one of these to tow a Harley?

I wouldn't tow my bike across town with one.

Why not get a 4 x 8 trailer? You can get one from Harbor Freight fora few hundred bucks.

I would not use this type of towing device because of the stress on your bike.Rent a U-Haul trailer enclosed and lightweight or do a seach for mortorcycle trailer rentals in your area.

Yep, rent a trailer, enclosed would be better. Be sure it got some protection up front from crap thrown up by your car.

Use the dolly if you want, I see no harm, it would be more protected right behind the truck than up on top of a 4'x8' trailer 5' behind the truck, you dont have a tire in the middle of your truck to throw stuff up. yes a enclosed trailer is the best mode to get from point a to .
what stress is it going to cause ??? you have the susppention of thetruck and the bike to take the bumpsand pot holes.
Do you have a force field aroundyour bike when your riding ??heck a srap could breakin the trailer and the bike couldfallover on top of your colletion of elvis records.
