Default brake pad question

I'm getting ready to do a brake pad replacement on my 2020 Ultra Limited. Did this bike come from the factory with sintered or organic pads? I would like to go with sintered for the longevity but wasn't sure if that was a good idea as I know they can be abrasive on rotors. Thanks for the help.

Sintered. At least mine were on a 19' Street Glide Special, just changed the front, but back were still no half worn according to the set of new pads I bought. Lyndall gold +

Sintered does wear down the rotor faster. It has a higher friction coefficient when hot, and better high temperature characteristics.

Organic is typically softer and therefore gentler on the rotor. Organic pads typically have better friction at lower temperatures, but are more prone to hot fade.

So, if you’re a gentle rider who wants a really light, 1-finger brake, you’ll probably prefer the organic pad.

If you ride more aggressively, love corner carving, and things like that, a sintered pad will probably make you happier.

You can always go semi sintered, I believe you get the best of both worlds

I replaced mine ('14 SG) with sintered. Felt weird at first. Had to squeeze quite a bit harder to brake. I'm pretty easy on the bike so it took a bit to get used to.

I like the EBC HH pads. People say they're noisy but I have them on all of my bikes & when you hear that noise at least you know they're working.

I have a set of semi sintered read to install when the originals are worn, going to give those a try.

If you chamfer the edges on the HH's the noise goes away. My favorite pad out there!
