Thanks a lot for additional hints.
you are very supportive and I appreciate a lot!
thank you.
I had some time today... and this is where I am at the moment.
exhaust off
tank off
cam cover off
rocker covers off
parts are ordered but there is some delay
I will have the tool for internal tensioner will be available thanks to kindness of a biker
plate to take off the internal bearings is already during machining.
rest of the tool for inner cam bearings disassembly I just sent the request to one of the guys here that has CNC machines, let's see.
I also realized something, it works better for me if I go to my garage and work 2/3 hours per day, instead of sitting there 12 hours getting the job done.
sometimes it is better to slow down and make things while you're not so tired.
I have covered the stuff while I am not working, no need for more dust there

Some photos

Yes it's always best to take your time and double check everything. Do yourself a favor and tape your chrome. You'll be angry you didn't if you scratch something in reassembly.

My rocker arms were worn, and needed repalcement. One thing I didn;t have on hand and slowed up restoration.

Yeppir those be the one's! Make sure when you pull them you use the correct tool. Expanding collet type. Lube it to insert. They may make a cracking sound when they break free.

Too cool. Keep those oily hands and pictures coming. Love it especially when I'm just watching...

Hi Guys... some progress on the way.
But First question.
how do you take off the rocker box in touring models...there is not enough room between the frame and the rocker base to play with the bolt.
I took me 40 min to take it out.
Rally enginee's joke.

Except that the rest went nice and smooth
But i am worried about assembly.

As for the rest.
Parts shall arrive on Wednesday.
But I still will be waiting for the tool to take off the inner cam bearings.

to be continued......

Ya it is PIA getting it apart in frame. But it can be done. I did buy 7/16 ratcheting wrench the second time I did it. But it is still PIA.

Some dog bobes for torqueing help too.

Though did it first time without. It is worth getting IMO.

Thanks.
My idea is to use standard fiat 7/16 as an extention of torque wrench. It will work as adapter. Will Just have to recalculate torque properly

I also have a lot of metric tools that sometimes fit even more tight than standard Imperial ones.
but for example I got the bolts loosened with 1/2" and finished the job with 13 rachet like this. - works very well
