Confused by the HD website (shocker!). The "Fuel Tank Console Door", did it change from 07 to 08? I know they changed the part that runs up the tank, and it has a bigger tank, but I don't know if the door is the same. Half of the them on the HD website say '92 and later electra glides, and others say 92-07. I had one in my hands, and the dealer said it won't fit the 08, but it sure looks the same to me??? any help??

try looking in the parts manual for the 07 and get the part number for the door. then look in the 08 manual, if the numbers match, should be no problems. if the numbers don't match, it may still work, but like you say, you get to be the guinea pig.
