Default Volt Reg Mounting

So, '16 RGS.... Volt Reg went south... Long story short, ended up getting two from different brands... Neither of which line up with the mounting studs on the bike. Hole spacing on both the replacements are too wide by approx 1/4". Anyone bumped into this before? I've replaced on several of my Harleys over the years and never bumped into this.

What brands did you get?

My first impulse guess would be it's their issue, as the '16 bikes have been around for awhile and the OEM regulator specs are not secret.....

My second guess would be it's an issue with the labelling or a part number mix up.....

I'll be interested to read other's input to see if this kind of thing happens often...
