Default Fullsac install

I installed the fullsac kit yesterday. This aint no 1 or 2 hour install. Took me closer to 4 and I consider myself to be pretty handy ( maybe just a little slow, huh?).

Anyway it definately changes the sound. The Rush 2.25's sound completely different and louder too. Were the new pipe shows on the rear cylinder is acceptable as long as it doesn't start to blue. However, I'm not to crazy about the right side heat shields that you have to reverse and but the square ends. Gotta work on that.Don't really look to good. One good thing is that the decel pop seems to be gone. I'm running the DFO and AN big sucker.

Do a search on Fullsac on this forum. One of the users has all of the part numbers for getting the heat shields to lin eup and look great. There is a Harley part and a part he got from JP, that make it look great.

Good Luck

Only took me about 45 minutes.[:-]

What took so long? Did you follow the directions and have pertty girls around?

I did it by myself and have a lift though so maybe that helped.

You guys that did this install that fast must have lost track of time drinking beer and looking at the pretty women. It takes close to 30 minutes just to get the heat shields off, and another thirty to resize the left pipe. Guess I'm just slow or very carefull.

Anyway it turned out good. I think I'm gonna like it once I get those right side heat shields looking right.

No, it was completed in about a half hour and I don't drink. You will need to play around with lining up the shields.

Took me little over an hour, that includes beer/smoke breaks. My pretty woman was at work, so I didn't have that slowing me down. Boargaurd, are those the stock shields on yours? Sig pic looks like you did a real nice job with them.

It took me about 2 hours to do the fullsac and the power commander. I cheated on the crossover pipe and used a sawzall to cut it in half like was suggested here by one of the members.
