Default Screen Protectors

I purchased a 2017 Streetglide Special. All was good. Then the screen protector got damaged two years ago. Dealer installed a new one, and i can't see the screen now as new protector must be polarized, as are my sunglasses. Has anyone else run into this isssue, and have you found a fix for this issue?. Thanks in advance. kap

I also wear polarized glasses, prescription sunglasses. I have not seen a bike screen I couldn't read with them on. I saw dozens when bike shopping. So you can see the screen without your sunglasses and you can see the screen on other bikes with your sunglasses on? If so, replace the screen protector and get one you can see through with your glasses on.

As far as i know, they only removed the screen protector. Didn't know there was a "protective" film ? Went for a ride today without a screen protector on. Could see screen a little better, but still dark. Starting to wonder if screen itself is going. kap

I didn’t even know there was a screen protector, until I bought a used 2017 SGS. Was washing it one day, and saw the bubbles.

I tried one aftermarket that just didn’t fit right. Then, bit the bullet, and bought the Harley kit. Comes with 2 screen savers, but the Harley one went on easy, fit perfectly, and has been a non issue since. 2 years later, the other is sitting on the shelf.

Never had an issue with polarized glasses, maybe try a new screen saver.

I did replace it, but had same result. Road today without screen saver in and could see a little better, but still dark. Starting to think screen itself is going. kap

Have you tried to adjust the screen brightness?
