2023 road glide is torn down and ready for paint… this winter project is paint, S&S 475 cam chest, pulling the Paul Yaffe apes off and putting Arlen Ness Method risers and Thrashin Mid Bend Bars, Cali Rasied Baja LP6 lights, Santoro Fabworx Bag guards and crash bar, and more on the way! Who else has a performance bagger?
Are you painting, or getting it done? I got quoted > $4500 couple years ago for a two color fade job. That's me bringing parts to painter. Didn't do it

I wish I could paint! I’m having Jeff Gates do it at Afterhours Paint works. I’ll be doing all the mechanical work tho
Welcome from MO. Sounds like a fun build and a BA scoot once finished up. I'm putting the same cam kit in later this winter. Did you go with the 475C or 475G? Any reason for one over the other? Also curious about the paint job you're doing. What are you thinking/planning there?

I have Jeff Gates at “After Hours paint works” doing custom paint, the colors are going to be red, black, silver in flake, not sure how he’ll do all the line work I basically said do your thing make it sick, there will be some pretty cool ghosted effects in it. If your on instagram check out his stuff @afterhours_paintworks. As for the cam chest kit I went with chain if you go gear you have to have the crank done or put the S&S crank would be more ideal. Gear driven has much tighter tolerances then chain drive
I’ll def be sharing it for sure with everyone lol I can’t wait to see it done. I just put the hoffman designs shorty carbon front fender on looks killer. If you check out his stuff on facebook or instagram it’s going to be similar to the blue black and silver in flake bike he recently did. Line work and patterns will be different he try’s to never do the same stuff again I told him let the creativity run and just gave him the colors he’s def talented and I feel letting painters fly with it is always turns out better

I'm looking at doing the same, in those colors too. I am not copying you, I've been on this path. I'm excited for you. Sounds like it's gonna be a sick build.
