Crazy!
Perhaps they're not expecting it to actually sell, but are using it to advertise their custom build business. If so, they've been rather successful as I'm sure that listing is all over social media.
Not seeing $86k worth of bike and parts here....
The paint is not my style, but I like the rest of it. Carbon wheels are cool. But without some serious motor work, and a Baker transmission... absolutely no way this is worth $86k even if they paid $120/hr to install it all. Nothing but a dealer advertisement IMO, get some bozo in the door and sell them a "custom" bike with nothing but basic bolt ons at a 200% mark up.

(Before covid and the times of stupid truck prices) I found a dealer with a nice 2014 silverado listed for sale, almost exactly what I was looking for. Even the perfect color. Called them and made sure they still had the truck as it was a 2.5hr drive to go see it. They still had it, told them I was coming tomorrow to look at it. Next day, I'm on my way there about a 1/2hr out and called them to make sure they had the truck ready to test drive they say "Yes our salesman who has been driving it (first red flag) just got here with it and it's in the wash/detail bay" hmm ok. I arrive, ask to see the salesman and the truck... (sleezy looking, hair slicked back guy) meets me and says Yup it should be ready here in a few! just having it washed! Waited another 15-20min and finally they pulled the truck around... looks decent, but does have a few minor dents and dings. jump into test drive.... second red flag, the truck has a whole NINE THOUSAND more miles on it than the add listed online said. Test drive is fine, drives like it should. Pull over into a parking lot to really get a better look at the truck without the salesman breathing down my neck, open up the center console to find it full of personal items like mail belonging to the salesman and look at the rear cup holders... dip spit everywhere! (third red flag) alright well.. it can be cleaned... better than their detail shop can apparently do. I go back to try and buy the truck, not a bad deal if he's willing to negotiate on price, especially with the additional mileage and filth of the truck. Nope, "best we can do is add a 50k miles warranty, and can install side steps" Side steps I didn't want or even mention. No way, I came here to buy a 64k mile truck, not a 73k mile truck thats been trashed and you've been driving for months and using as a farm truck! And as soon as I told him I'm not longer interest in that truck he comes back with a list of trucks that are nothing close to what I want, too old, too many miles, wrong colors, wrong cab and bed configs. I ran outta there. I'm convinced he just wanted to keep using it as his personal truck and didn't really have any interest in selling.
They're looking for that "one guy" who is a totally emotional shopper, and will fall in love with that custom paint job.... I'm sure there's someone out there that will love it, I know I don't. .
They'll sell it to him grudgingly for $50K, after pointing out the $30K paint job and all the "expensive" add-ons. He'll buy it at that amazing $36K discount, and feel like he got the deal of a lifetime....
That poor guy will go to all the bike nights telling everybody about his amazing deal. Some will just say, "Nice Bike". Others will shake their heads in disbelief. He'll call them "jealous" when they roll their eyes at his "amazing deal"......
The above scenario happens everyday in both new and used Harley sales in varying degrees.... just the models, years, and numbers are different...
IMHO, happens a lot with CVOs......
