Default Wind deflectors

Has anyone got the Harley fork mounted wind deflectors on their electra glide ? How good do they work on reducing the wind coming up from your legs ?
Thanks,

no1likehim,
Thanks for the reply, I was looking to find something to make riding this winter a little more bearable and the deflector looked like it would help, just wanted to be sure before spending more $$$$$.

We have the deflectors on the Heritage and the EG Classic both. They work well, and IMO are worth the money.

Bill

Mine help the wind on the upper legs and especially behind the windshield. Not much difference on the lower legs, though. All in all, they are worth the money.

they are good and the deflector that goes under the triple tree is great too in the winter, it's recomended to remove in warmer weather. the factory quit using it after 2000 but sell it as an accessory.

Just trying to be sure I understand what everyone is using. Are you referring to the deflector that mounts between the forks under the trees or to the deflectors that mount on the outside of each fork leg?

I'm looking for a little cold weather help myself, trying to keep riding as much as possible.

Neckball--

Another option you might consider is the the wind deflector vest from jacksflaps.com (advertiser on this board). It works well on my RK, and other bikes without a fairing. It doesn't provide any improvement for the fairing equipped bikes, however. I don't like appearance of the fork mounted deflectors, and the vest does an amazing job of eliminating the wind coming up your nose. While at speed, put your arm across your chest to experience the same effect. When you don't need it, just stuff it in your bags.

Deflectors
I love mine. Big change in the wind behind the fairing.
