I wear a full face the majority of the time and yes, when I wear a polo or open face I am always very aware of the mad sewing going on under my crotch. Haha. I use hearing protection regardless of what helmet I'm wearing at the time. It's the equivalent of turning up the radio in your car so you can't hear the bad stuff going on!
