What the real difference between the 2008-2013 touring frames and a FXR frame . I seen articles on people building a big fxr off a touring bike. But didn't really get into what they did. I know you can't just change trees. It will mess up the handling. And I know they make fxr style frames for my twin cam. . So besides the steering head what is the difference. ?

They're two completely different frames, about the only thing the same between them is they were both made by HD.
