My Harley came with the SE longer rear shock spring units and shorter springs on the front to lower it equally. The owners and service manual warns against changing them unequally.
I put the longer springs back in the front. When I did, I didn't notice that affected it. However, a Softail Duece is far different handling then a Sport Bike. I never push it.
It's probably going to slow your steering down. That small tire usually will also give it a slight difference in turn fill.
Take it easy when you first start out till you get the fill of the difference the bike will be in turns.
