I sold my 2015 Road Glide Special and picked up a 2021 Road Glide Limited. Theres obviously differences between the two infotainment systems. But, I wonder if I lost functionality with the new bike or havent figured out where that function moved to. I downloaded the GTS manual and searched the forums and cant find the answer to 3 issues.
1) While using the GPS, I dont see a way to change radio stations to the next preset / saved station because the right stalk moves around the GPS screen and no longer allows you to select a preset radio station. Unless theres a way to option the GPS to show my preset stations?
2) It appears the left stalk Tune/Seek/Preset function only offers Tune, I see the Scan option in the screen, which is a pain to have to go find Scan option after stopping it to listen to that station for a minute.
3) When I upgraded from a 2010 Street Glide Special, I dont recall having a problem getting my GPS Saved locations transferred to my RGS via a flash drive. While transferring from my RGS to my RGL, most of the Saved locations are listed by address instead of name.
Any help would be appreciated.
I haven't tried in awhile simply because I haven't listened to music while riding in a long time. But I vaguely remember having this issue with the FM radio on my GTS system. It would do a 'scan' as opposed to a 'next station'. Don't remember if I ever resolved it, and more often my phone is plugged in for Android Auto and I have a Spotify playlist going as opposed to radio. Sorry not much more help.
The right joystick is going to navigate around whatever screen you have up on the display at the time. The left joystick will do radio volume up and down, left and right changes my Sirius channels to the next channel in their channel order, not the next "preset". If I listening to music via CarPlay, left and right is next/previous track... left/right with AM/FM radio is gonna be static... until you tap it enough to hit another channel, its not going to be the next preset.
Only thing I can think of is you might try "Global Presets" (enable in "setting") and see if that does the trick. I don't use it, so I can't tell you.
And #3, I am no help with either.... I didn't move any over.
