Default center jack

Did a search for a scissor type jack. Want to get a decent one to lift the weight off my Street Glide for winter storage. Not interested in lifting the bike completely off the floor, it is parked in a Wheel Dock stand. Just want to try to relieve most of the weight from tires. Want something that is decent, not cheapest nor most expensive. What have you guys used???

I have (2) of the Drag Specialties scissors, one is the skinny one for the center, and I have the wide one I put towards the rear. When I am doing engine work, this is the way I like it. I used to do everything on my J&S

THIS one came with my lift table that I got through them. It’s a decent little jack.

Spartanden, I bought this HD lift 2 years ago Part # 92900004 $427 + Tax (Here in Canada). This pic I was working on it rewiring LED's on the front so it's high. I store it much lower over the winter so both tires are only 2" off the ground for all the reasons we do that. No issues ever and I use it once a week in my driveway when I wash my SGS so I can spin tires and get in all the nooks and crannies. For the money I'm very happy with it, you can lock the rear two wheels if not on a level and even though I leave it elevated all winter I put on the safety lower brake/stop and leave the kickstand down and in 1st...........just in case. It has never released and lowered, I check every day because all winter I get depressed and go out once a day and look at it and think "what's next" LOL

Northwestern.... just ordered the wide base from Dennis Kirk. I have been checking a bit on another site and this came up several times. Really more than I wanted to spend, but based on comments on some of the cheaper jacks, I will buy quality over price.
SGSGUY..... I have a craftsman jack I use when I need to get it up for various things. I have a Wheel Dock chock I normally park in when I park after riding. I plan to keep the bike in the Wheel Dock, and use the scissor jack to take some of the weight off the bike for winter storage.
Thanks for y'all input. I appreciate....and you confirmed my thoughts.

I misunderstood the assignment. I understand now, didn't realize you were using two systems.

You won't be disappointed. My friends have the Chinazon jacks, and there is some slop in them that translates to a bit of instability, and the DS have a pretty smooth action. Yes, they too are imported but the quality is superior IME, and price is the mid line between Chinazon, and a $500 K&L Tools jack.
I wanted to get 2 of them for $400, which was my goal. Now I am rock solid when I have the engine torn apart, and I can wheel around on my little stool without the J&S getting in my way on one side of the bike.

No problem guys. I'm a tool junkie and often get some things don't really need. But this is something I've wanted for a while, pretty much just for storage and the occasional work I might have to do. So I got the jack coming from Dennis Kirk and should be here mid next week.

Look for a used J&S Jack....(Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Ebay etc etc).......extremely stable, easy to roll with weight of a touring cycle, and has a number of height settings. Perfect for winter storage, cleaning and DIY cycle work.

....then use the wheel dock u already have for summer parking.

Now that you'll be getting the scissor jack, might be nice to use a long handle ratchet wrench for it. You won't have to bend down to lower or raise the lift. I've been happy with
one of these ratchets one of these ratchets
with a 24" handle.
