I would like to know where you guys attach your tie downs on theFRONT of an Ultra (with the lower fairings attached). Thats ALL I am interested in. Not wanting to start a long thread about tie down procedures

Well, pardon US!! You want limited discussion - fine.
Best I have found; Condor chock which locks the front wheel and keeps the bike upright and then soft strap the front bag guard (each side) and attach rachet straps to a forward and 30 to 45 degree point out from the front wheel.
I prefer not using the bars for two reasons; 1. compress the bar bushings. 2. over compressing the front shocks.
