Default Best GPS?

I'm looking for a good dual use GPS--for my Dresser and then to use in my car. Is there a good dual use device out there?

IMO....it's hands down the Zumo 550. Do a search and you'll see a bunch of threads on it. I got mine a few months ago at pcnation.com for something like $580(I think)plus free overnight shipping.

Another vote for the Zumo 550!

$580 is a great price. Bought mine for over $650 in early spring this year.

Saw an add in last monthsAMAmagazine, that if you are a member you can get $100.00 off the Tom-Tom Rider.
I will look for the web site and the article...

I have Tom-Tom Rider am very happy, I use it in the car and on the SG. The Zumo was not out when I purchased my Tom-Tom Rider or I would have checked it out, with all the rave reviews it gets it must be good.

Watched a feller on another board go through sumthin' like 6 Tom-Tom's afore he finally threw up hiz hands in disgust an' went ta Garmin. Me, ah use a 2610 - killer unit IMO, an' you kin buy a refurbed unit fer 'bout 2 bills. Jest Google "garmin 2610 refurbished"...
