Ditto on the Zumo 450 or 550. Had mine for about a month now and couldn't be more pleased. (and I've owned 4 different GPS units over the years). My only complaint is that the audio out, when fed through the AUX jack on the radio on my street glide is not nearly loud enough to hear it over wind noise and pipes even with the outputs jacked on both the unit and my radio. Other than that the unit is awesome...weatherproof, great GUI, and solidly constructed.

Be sure you go into the setup and crank up the audio output and on-screen. Press the bottom left button and then the + button repeatedly until max. It makes a huge difference!
I believe I did as it was showing 100%, should be the same screen that also contains the brightness setting if I recall correctly.
I honestly couldn't believe it wouldn't get any louder. Same thing in the Jeep when using the window mount, just about barely audible when on the highway.
I'll take a look and try again. Can you hear yours while at speed on the bike?
When you use the soft button on the bottom left corner, a yellow bar graph will show up on screen. This is the master volume control, repeatedly pressing the + soft button will take the unit to max volume. I had the same problem with mine. I was thinking that the 100% indicated full volume. I found out that it only means 100% of the volume that is set on the master control.

PhilM,
I owe you a beer, that worked just as you stated. Funny how there are actually two separate and independent volume controls ( I assumed one was the same as the other).
In any case, thanks again, glad I posted as I had pretty much given up on using the audio option on the unit.
electaRICK,
You would have to be pretty damn stupid not to be able to master this thing (aside from the volume control...) within 10 minutes of use. I have read many of your posts on this forum and even that having been said, I still think you would do ok.
