Have the same bike and had the same issue. The cables are just routed incorrectly you just have to follow them and route them in the most efficient way so you dont waste any length. This happened for me when I got new bars and they stuck out further than the originals, not sure if thats what you just did. They dont route the cables effectively from the factory
He has a 2019. TBW. No cables. If I am not mistaken.
Pull codes, and keep in mind that throttle is by wire (not cable), So problem could be up at bars, or down at TB
So could be a simple as throttle cable or throttle body connector unplugged, or bigger problems with throttle wires broken or wires shielding broken and wires grounding out to bars, or entire throttle assembly gone south up at the bars, or down at the throttle body instead.
Again, codes will tell you if up at bars, or down at TB, so you know where you need to trouble shoot the problem.
Or somewhere in between where those wires/ connectors connect to ecm isntead.
Can't help you if you can't help us. If you don't know how to get any codes, just say so. Someone will post a link with detailed instructions. Had you recently washed the bike with a garden hose or an even higher pressure water source?
