If you installed new brake pads did you bleed the brakes ? Try breaking the bleeder loose and see if it spins.

What is to gain? I think having a question or problem brings people to forums.

Either they figure out, feel dumb or just not nice enough share with us. Or give up and bring to shop and doesn't want to tell us

if it was all good before it was stripped then its been ensembled wrong, go back and check your work.
