Looks kinda weird to me....tour pack looks like it's way too far and about to fall off. I suppose if you have a larger sized passenger then it might look better. But, if riding solo, I don't like the look so I'd want to push it closer for solo riding. Just my 2 cents.

Whup! Faked me out - was looking for a kit to remove the Tour Pack completely from an 06 EG Ultra Classic and go for the lower CG a la Road King, etc. Oh sure, I can simply remove it, and I just might, but the optics might not be clean. 09, 14 are what I've found so far, nothing for the 06. I'll keep looking....

When I installed a detachable Tour Pak on my 2005 Road Glide, my wife was too close to me. Well the factory provided two sets of mounting holes, front and middle. I spent about 20 minutes and measured everything up and drilled four new holes in a more rearward position. Ran the Pak like that for 15 years, never an issue.
