Default Who makes the most budget friendly complete cam install kit?

As winter is upon us, Im considering my next project. Ive discussed in several other posts that Ive added a tuner and pipes, but I want more power. A cam is my only logical solution.
My bike is a 2017 Road King, so Im aware that replacing the oil pump is highly recommended. Ive done a little searching but have found prices and options vary significantly. Im still debating if I want to do this job myself, one very influencing factor will be ease of support. Im looking to see who sells a complete kit (cam, oil pump, pushrods, etc) at a decent price. Who has had success with complete kits and whose kits should I avoid?

Go to Fuel Moto. Buy the HD factory pump as recommended.
You will also get outstanding support with your tune, and helpful instruction should you need it.

You do not "need" an oil pump nor a cam plate
You do not "need" adjustable pushrods

Cams / gaskets/ bearings / lifters .
I figure careful shopping for INDIVIDUAL components would put you under $1100

With one caveat.

I would not own an M8 without the newer, 8 lobe gerotor oil pump introduced in May 2019 and included on all 2020 models.

While not an absolute cure, it seriously lowers the chances of a sumping issue...

Everything Ive read states that the 2017 oil pumps were the worst of the lot and really should be replaced. Is this just fear mongering?
As for the pushrods, I will pay extra for the adjustable so I dont have to pull off the entire top end.

If money is the issue what you need to do is save some funds then buy the parts as you can afford them. Buying cheap usually means not good quality, so slow down and get all the parts as you can afford them. Since you have a 2017 and you plan on keeping it an Oil pump is a must have item.

1. HD OEM 2020 or later Oil Cooled oil pump assembly
2. New Lifters and I have had very good luck with AC Delco HL 124 or GM # 17122490 parts
3. Koyo Cam bearing # B-168
4.Camshaft that fits your riding style
TTS -100 if your after great lower RPM torque and mid range with a smooth style idle sound.
TTS -175 if your after good lower RPM torque and great mid range to higher RPM and will give a hotrod style idle sound.
5. Necessary gaskets (valve cover, cam cover, tappet covers ect.), oil and filter
6. Adjustable pushrods if you don't want to remove the valve covers to remove the original pushrods. I've had good luck with the SE adjustables

I NEVER would have assumed a standard aftermarket automotive roller lifter would be available off the shelf like that. Good to know.

Default 2023 HD Streetglide cam kit

just wanted to chime in for recommendations on cam kit on a 2023 HD Streetglide standard? Looking for recommendations that would increase hp/torque but mid to higher range that would help with passing in 6th gear without downshifting to get that extra power? Also want that “lobey” sound if that is possible. Don’t want to change anything else like the heads or anything else at this time and wanted to know if I just did a cam change kit which would give the best for what I am looking for without causing issues from the install/compatibility? Thanks and look forward to any suggestions. Maybe this too would help the original poster to this thread???

6th gear without downshifting means you turning the engine ~3000 RPM at 80 mph, so how fast do you travel in 6th?
