Just did Beartooth last month and thought it was the highlight ofour 6000 miletrip. I'd rate it above Glacier, but this was my second time through Glacier. Not too tough a ride as long as you pay attention and stop to do your serious looking. My 17 year old son handled it on a Street Glide with no problems.

Where is beartooth?
It's in Montana about 30 miles from Red Lodge Montana and it's summit is about 11,000 ft. I've never been over it on a motorcycle but many many times in a car. It's a beautiful area and I'm sure a great bike ride.

The only problem with riding the Beartooth Highway is that you are not likely to stop and do a multi-day hike into the mountains on the western side. There are some mountain valleys up there that will take your breath away: Glaciers, high lakes full of fat trout and true virgin wilderness. Hellroarin' Creek is the best one in my opinion.
