Only Harley Davidson would have the gall to sell a washer for twenty dollars. [:'(]

Well, I went and looked at the new consoles on the RKC and was kind of regretting not waiting for the '08 for that and several other reasons. With this piece though, I actually like my console better than the new one now. Washer from Harley: $20, dressing up the ugly console on your road king: priceless!

The chrome fork lock cover also should have been stock.

Luckily my rk custom does not have that bolt. The only one is located just under the speedo. I got a little creative with mine. I deal dice for a living, and have a bunch just laying around the house. Even put a matching one on the taillight.

Great, now every time I see your signature my eyes are instantly going to look at those dice... . Cool idea and unique.

That's a nice piece, all right. Been thinking about installing a small leather pouch there to hold either the Gerbling controls or my pod for music.

[sm=bustedsign.gif]Alright, alright. I bought a smoked lay down tail light off ebay for $25, and installed a red bulb. Well, the bulb melted a hole (almost all the way through), right in the middle. I removed the light cover, and thought it was a $25 mistake. I took it over and layed it on my workbench, where I have a lot of dice laying around. That's when I got the idea. So, you could say that because I am cheap and still wanted to use the cover, I improvised a solution. LOL I still think it looks cool.
