Default Right Hand Side Cover???

My power commander is on it's way and I can't wait!! [sm=bounceybounce.gif] I've already looked over the installation instruction several times.
Step 1) Remove the right hand side cover.
The manual says there are no screws holding the cover in place. (Don't know if this is a good thing or not) To remove gently pull.
Which way do I pull? Out away from the bike? Down towards the ground? Up towards the seat?
I just don't want to hurt my baby![sm=smiley30.gif]

Just pull straight out towards you. I start at the upper right or left corner, depending on which side of the bike I'm on.
Their just plastic pins that seat in rubber grommets.

If you are in severe cold weather. Use a hair dryer to warm up the plastic. There are three pins work each area a little at a time . With your hands it will pop right off. Bob

Pull straight towards you. The power commander will mount to the stock ECM with zip ties. It holds it just fine and you will not have any problems installing it. If you have a laptop or access to one it will make loading the maps much easier.

I have an 06 E-Glide Classic (California). The PClll attaches to the stock ECM alright, but the plugs that they want you to velcro to the bottom of the battery box won't go there because there is a carbon canister located right under the battery box. I tie wrapped the plugs to the stock wireing loom . It was touch and go as to whether I would be able to get the side cover to stay on. Eventually got it to stay after re-aranging the plugs several times.
I have to say that the performance increase was very noticeable. SE Touring mufflers and SE air filter with a pclll is a great combo. NO driving issues at all with the new 06 download from Dynojet.

I was just asking to make sure I didn't mess anything up. Better to ask 1st than to repair later. I was able to install the PC III (in the garage) while on my lunch and cooking a hamburger in the kitchen.

I'm pretty! I'm the Heavyweight Champion of the World! I'm a bad man!
