All of these ideas will work...I like to get the 6 foot cable to hook to your radio, (4.00 at best buy), put the Ipod in the trunk, get a 12V power plug and put it the trunk also. get a Ijet remote, hook the Ipod, Remote and plug up in the trunk, velcro remote to dash or handlebar area, out of sight, out of the weather, works great.

I went to the local walmart and bought the cable and a cheap cell phone case with a clear plastic window in it. I slid the I pod in it, cut a small hole in the top of the case for the cable to slide through to plug it in. I can operate the Ipod (older larger shuffle) through the plastic window. The belt clip fits securly on my throttle cables. It will not slide off and doesn't pinch them. I think I had about $10 in the whole thing.

I struggled with that also, I finally just velcro'd it to the center console until I can find a mount that works well

Hi All I'm kind of new here but I struggled with this issue too and thern I realized that my Ultra CD player is capable of playing MP3's! You can burn a CD with plenty of tune selection onto one or two CD's and not have to worry about where to put your IPOD.

I have one of the cruzer caddys on the bars, i zip tied my mp3 player case to that and ran the cable along the bars.Works great. The first mountin i did was putting velcro on the cb console. This was also great untill the florida heat took over. luckily i was at a watering hole enjoying an adult beverage when the glue melted and the damn thing slid off the tank.

i have the 3 leather pouches along the windshield. i just put it in the middle one and run the wire behind them and down to the aux port.

i also bought a wireless remote from monster cable. this allows me to skip forward if i want.

i usually just put on a playlist and let that go so i don't really need the screen and all that.
