Default Windshield mounted Stereo

Has anyone purchased a Handlebar mounted or Windshield mounted Stereo like the one offered on Ebay by Ron's Radio. It looks pretty custom built and sharp. I would really like to have some tunes Radio/CD and IPOD but really am not a fan of a fairing for the Road King

Here is the link to the one I have seen on Ebay.

Thanks
Frank

a friend has a similar set up on a Kawa it sounds like chit---even worse when the SGs and EGCs and UCs pull up.

for that price I would get hard bags (used),four 6x9s,amp and IPod--and blast some sound

I had seen this one before. I think it is the nicest looking of the windsheild mount radios. Bummer to hear it may not work well. I was set to buy one, contacted the guy and asked a couple of questions. I have a rk custom, and he told me I would have to remove the chrome wind deflecter, which I love. So, I just use an mp3. However, I have sen the speakers in the bag set up, and think this might be the better way to go. I will have to check more into it.

Let us know what you decide.

Had one like this on my '01 King.... Didn't care for the looks and couldn't hear much over 70MPH with the Rineharts & went back to my mp3 player in my pocket - Gave it to a friend and he tried it and soon after went with a DrangonFly Ft fairing on RK NOW he can hear his tunes (so can everyone else)...
