Don: RKC chrome passenger floorboard bottom covers help pull the line through the bike from front to back (in my opinion). Then, go as crazy as you can afford.

I'd do performance stuff first, like the Stage I, oilcooler, easy clutch, then light upgrade. My route on looks has been to add comfort so I've only gotten the Kuryakyn pegs for SO, myself, grips, and larger extended mirrors.

Service manual...

After that, just kind of cruise the pages, look at pics, hit the catalogues and the stores and see what grabs your eye...like someone up top said, make sure you like the theme you start with, or you will spend more later.

On thought on the handgrips...I put the HD stuff on my ride, I regret it. I have friends that put the Kuryaken ISO grips on theirs and have 20K+ miles on them, and they show no wear. I have 10K+ on mine, and they look like hammered dog ****.

agree fully on those kuryakn grips and add the iso boss a place too rest the palm. kuryakn really has there product thought out u can not go wrong grips mirrors pegs floorboards or whatever its nice and it really works. also the pilot grip with the throttle boss is very popular and a great grip. on mirrors a lot of mirrors vibrate lossen and just fall apart the kuryakn is the best they just work. i tryed sending photos with cut and copy method and it did not work could not figure out why/ o well

I've found some good quality chrome parts on ebay as well. I would check that out.

A side note about kuryakn. They stand behind their products. A highway peg fell off in Daytona whay back when and got scratched bigtime. I called customer service and asked if I could by one, instead of pair. She asked what happened, she said no problem "I will send you one free". I asked for address where I could ship broken one, and reciept where I bought it. She told me"Don't worry about that. Throw the broken one away, new one is on the way"

Solid company!

I found that adding chrome trim rings to all the lighting improved the look of my Road King, and didnt break the bank.

I'll bet they do! Just what I need, a reason not to buy the kids any presents!
