Have you seen the new headlight design introduced at the Dallas Harley Dealer Show last week? I just got one in for our bike. Here's a link- Interesting part is that Low beam is bright and wide, but when you switch to High beam- BOTH light are now illuminated giving a huge light pattern!!
Sounds pretty slick, has a unique look as well. I've never understood why turning on the high beam on any vehicle turns off the low beam. If I want more light, why are some of the lights going OFF?[:@]
Thats a nice looking light. Im thinking the reason for the passing lamps going off when you turn on the high beam is that maybe the charging system wont keep up?
I got to see one in person yesterday at Crossroad's H-D in N. Wilkesboro, NC and it looks cool, but it resembles the lamp on the new Vulcan 2000 to closely for me. And it's a little pricey, as are all things new at H-D. I think they said $129.00 but don't quote me on that...
I am going to replace the lamp on my 99 just because it's hazed over and looks milky, but I think I'm going to use the logo lamp that came out in 04 on the touring models. I like that traditional look...
