I cannot get into it all just yet, but I can now say for the first time on line, our new product will be called "ULTRASOUND"--an name trademarked to Hogtunes. The kit will be a complete rear speaker solution for "2 speaker" bikes with batwing fairings, and stock radios. It will include our first amp--called USA 24.s (Ultrasound amp 24 watts x 2) and will have an unusual feature that NO ONE will touch--there is a licensing deal in place so I cant speak about it just yet..
The kit will include a complete plug and play wire harness that looks stock, Hogtunes rear speaker pods, a pair of HT Speakers, and HT grilles. Apart from how well Ultrasound works--the big seller is that its SOOOOOO EASY to put in!!!
I have the manual done and the product is being built now for Feb/March delivery. I have started on the webpage for it, but cannot upload till the license thing is put to bed!
Check back with me in another week please, and I will open right up if Im able
Lets be in touch Joe--you know were moving in March to Barrie---maybe we can do that ride we tried to hook up for this past season!
Don't forget, if you want shelves or plywood for the shop, I'm in the business and have tons and can give you what ever you need. I go through Beeton every week on the way to the cottage, so an extra 20 clicks is nothing.
I hope you're going to send out a pre-order notification email to all us guys who have ordered the front speakers from you. This seems to be exactly what I have been looking for to add to my Electra Classic.
Thanks eh! This kit is what we believe IS the answer to making bikes loud AND clear without taxing the electrical system. Trust me--I can build ANY size amplifier, and could have easily come with a bigger amp. The Ultrasound kit has the amp run the front speakers, and the built in radio power run the rears. Too big an amp for the fronts, and there would be no balance with the rears!
Were pretty stoked on this kit!! Like the speakers, there WILL be a forum members discount.
