When I had my 04, my wife used some black marine vinyl from a fabric store, with some nylon straps, buckles and snapsbought from the same store and made mea set for under $20. They looked better thanthe HD set and I loved them. Gave them to a bud whenI got the 08 withhard lowers.

Hell there is still 5 days of bidding left on those $40.00 right now knowing the way e-bay goes sometimes someone will pay $100.00 for them by the time it's all over.

Just sayin' the custom eBay chaps I got are much higher quality than the HD chaps. They also have FULL length velcro closures, very heavy material, fit like a glove & have long cutouts for low mounted highway pegs.

I ordered mine without the cutouts in mine, so maybe that is what's taking a little longer to get them to me.
