Bagger Boggie
Ihave an 07 Road Glide and have considered installing one of the products available to help with high speed wobble. Has anyone used a product they like or have information on one of the many available? Thanks Road Hawg
Just so you know I am starting to manufacture a product to eliminate wobble much along the same lines as the "tru track".
The mounting location is much the same one major difference is it sits up higher so there is no chance of any ash fault rash caused by hard cornering. The two mounting points are off the back of theoil pan and the cover plate for the swing arm pivot
The unit is CNC machined from 6061 aluminum, uses 2 aircraft quality him joints and a stainless steel spacer rod, all fasteners are stainless.
I willpost some pictures of the set up in the next week or two.
The reasons I amgoing to produce thisitem are as follows.
It seems to me alot ofriders complane about this wobble issue.
Companies that are producingsimilar products are way over priced.
As a person who rides I want to feel safe.
Ibuild customhotrodsin my spare time and can't believehow much more expensive it is to customize bikes.
I own atool and die shop and when the CNC mills are not running customer productI can run these products through the machines.
I am pricing the product at $250.00 complete and will start marketing it end of November.
Still working out a name for it.
If anyone else out there has other product ideas please let me know. I am always will to experiment with new ideas.
Any question give me a call or email me at greg@armactool.com 519-757-9754

i have put 65K miles on my RK and the roads here are very twisty North Alabama mountain roads. i have never consciously experienced what members here complain about handling and i have never dragged a footboard.
Not to sure what your weight is. A friend of mine weights in at 160 lbs and has a wobble issue at high speed and hard cornering when riding 1 up, the problem goes away when riding 2 up. From the people I have spoke with it seems to be the lighter weight bikers that have more wobble issues.
As far as you not draggin a floor board that's the difference between your ridding style and others, some riders like to push the boundries of their baggers and some like to just take it easy.
