I have been looking at the Modular System full face helmets by Harley, for my wife and I. anyone have any dealings with them and are they a good pick?

Take a Look inside the Lining of the Helmet and you will see that the Helmet is made by somebody else NOT Harley then Order the same Helmet from the Manufacturer (Nolan, HJC, Bell etc)

I like Modular helmets.... Have a couple but they're not HD's...(as Ice stated above they don't make the helmets) - And as long as they are DOT Cert they are all about the same more or less.. Take a look over on E-Bay and you'll see a bunch of options - far cheaper then what you have to pay for to get the HD decal on the helmet...

I too have a Nolan helmet that I used mainly on my V-Rod. Excellent helmet and I love the way it flips up and out of the way.

I would never recommed buying a helment that you don't try on first. I got all sorts of helments, full face, modular, shortie, Dot, Non-DOT, and they all fit a little different according to the brand. Its like anything else every ones molds are different and everyone heads are are a little different. Go to a rally and try on a dozen or so different ones and pick out the one that fits YOUR HEAD. And you will be much happier miles down the road. My old melon is shapped diffenent than most ..... but its been through more than most too!!!
