I just got an interesting response from a very good online vendor that sells from the custom chrome and drag specialties catalogs. When I asked about pricing on corbin seats now that corbin has lowered their prices, the response was that "all the warehouses have dropped corbin bro, no longer dealing with them". I just wonder ...
Any thoughts?
the other reason could be the fact that Corbin's customer service has finally caught up with them. Over the years and their lack of caring for the customer has been legendary! Maybe this time it's also caught up with the vendors.[:'(]
Been dealing with Corbin for many many years now... And have never had a problem with there CS.. I have sent dozens of folks up to Corbin to have there seat custom fitted while they wait (It's a all day thing - But while your there they treat ya RIGHT!)
Like any business you can't please everyone all the time - But I have seen "MIKE" himself get out and get involved in correcting a problem... They make and have always made a GREAT SEAT!
I have had many corbin products and I really like their seats.
I bought a set bettle bags, rear fender, and dual touring seat. The metal bushing or what ever you call it in the fender has broke the fiberglass and I had to put a long screw in the other side to keep it from comming all the way out. I spoke with them several months ago but is was no good.
The biggest problem is my bike is custom painted so I will ahve to have it repainted. With shipping cost to send the fender to crobin if they would take care of it but they said no then the cost of resending the fender to my painted and having ti painted would cost around $500 to $600
I will just use the screw put in backwards
I bought a seat at the corbin store in Daytona last week and had a very good experience. They treated me good. Even mailed my stock seat home at no charge.
