Almost every bike I've seen runs about 4 miles per hour slower than indicated. However, I used my Garmin this past weekend when I rented an '07 Ultra and found it was only 2 miles per hour fast on the speedo and about 2% (2 miles per hundred) fast on the odo.
Now yer gonna make me take my Garmin NUVI and have the old lady hold it while we ride so I can check out my 08 to see if its off any.
Don't bother its off, unless your looking for personal satisfaction (of courseI would love to be wrong). All my bikes were off. whenI inquired they said HD does not calibrate unless it is a bike used by Law enforcements, then they will calibrate. I just use my conquest as my true speed. My Ulta is reading 73 mph fast at 70 on the GPS.
