You are most likely right. I have 2 Harleys and both run about 4 miles per hour slower than indicated. This is according to my Garmin GPS and the Ohio State Highway Patrol...[:'(].

Ride Safe,

Mike

Almost every bike I've seen runs about 4 miles per hour slower than indicated. However, I used my Garmin this past weekend when I rented an '07 Ultra and found it was only 2 miles per hour fast on the speedo and about 2% (2 miles per hundred) fast on the odo.

Don't bother its off, unless your looking for personal satisfaction (of courseI would love to be wrong). All my bikes were off. whenI inquired they said HD does not calibrate unless it is a bike used by Law enforcements, then they will calibrate. I just use my conquest as my true speed. My Ulta is reading 73 mph fast at 70 on the GPS.
