[>:] I have an 06 RG. Now that the weather is changing, when the temperature drops to the 40's the radio's cd door pops open on it's own. It appears that things shrink enough that the latch looses friction. When new the door had a very tight "snap" when door was closed but thats gone away.
Has anyone else had this problem with their radio? I spoke to the dealer and they said they've never heard of the problem before.

 

Just put a little dab of JB Weld on there, that will keep her closed

J/K First I am hearing anyone say this. Is your cover warped?

[&:]It's not warped, stays closed in warm weather. And yes I have thought of gluing it shut since I never use the cd. What's JB Weld? Is it permanent like superglue?

I have the same problem with mine. I hasn't got down to 40 here in Vegas though. It just does it every now and then. I did not have the problem before the dealer gave me a refurbished unit. I had other problems with it also.

 

I had the same problem with mine. Just pull the center tab on the
cover very, very lightly. She should be fine after that.

 

DO NOT... I REPEAT DO NOT PUT JB Weld on your radio.
