Default EFI HELP!!!!

I need some help...
I am hearing two different stories depending on what friend, dealer or mechanic I talk to so I figured I would see if anyone on here can tell me what
I really need to do. So here it goes...
I have a 07 FLHTC, I just put on Reinhart true duals, and have not changed my intake. I am still running the stock breather.
With this setup do I
A. add a race tuner (PCIII or Dobeck TFI) to adjust my fuel mixture
OR
B. Run it stock since the intake didn't change

Which one and why?
I was always under the impression that B is the correct answer, since the intake wasn't changed
however some people tell me A is the right thing to do.
After I changed the pipes, I took her for about a 50 mile ride, she pulled through the entire rpm range with no studder or stumble.
When I let off the throttle there is no popping coming from the exhaust. So this tells me that it is pretty close to what it needs to be.
TIA

You dont need to do anything else,if you change the a/c to a high flow you will start to get a lot of popping on decel, then you may want to add a fuel management device..

You may want to consider adding an HD Stage 1 intake or one of its competitors. You'll get a small bump in horsepower and torque. I'm not an expert, but I think this would be even more helpful given that you have true duals, which caused you to lose a bit of low-end power. Of course, if you do add a Stage 1 air intake you will need to adjust the EFI via SERT, PCIII or similar system. Hope this helps -

My opinion: To get the full potential from your new exhaust (performance and sound) you'll need more air in to provide more air out. Yes, a fuel mgt. system should be added along with a more open intake. You'll be running lean, so map your setup on the rich side, and you'll eliminate decel popping and gain performance.

It doesn't look to me like your asking if you should add a a\c. It looks like your asking if you need a fuel manag. device for your duels. I say you don't unless you cange the a/c.

What's the MPG change?

Here's what I know, the 07 uses a closed loop EFI with narrow-band sensors. This means that the ECM can adjust for slight changes. But, on the other hand, bare stock the engine is already on the lean side (to meet the EPA regs).

The best thing would be to install a tuner - would not recommend the HD Stage 1. Put it this way, you'll probably want to do the AC next, then cams in a couple years, etc. - would get the tuner now.

If slip on's are all you are doing now, you need nothing else. Not until you change the A/C, then you should change to the sert or power commander III.
