I'm looking for a locking system for my Screaming Eagle Road King. I can not believe they do not lock.

They work.... Just installed a set on an 08 FLHRSE3.......

Only issue is the proximity of the lock housing to the filler strip.... Just space the saddlebag brackets out 1/4" more from the bike....

$69.95 for the RK Custom bag locks, $199.95 for the RK Classic bag locks. Where's the love?!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Locks aren't included in that 30 grand.

 

Haha, what I meant was: There's no reason the RK Classic locks should cost so much more than the RK Custom locks.[&:]

 

The locks for the classic comes with eqipment to lock the bag to the bike and a cable system and lock to lock the bags. Apparently since the custom already has the latch system, you only have to buy equipment to lock the bag to bike and something that locks the existing latches. Much less equipment needed on the custom so its cheaper.

 

OH! Thanks for the explanation. I didn't know the leather bags on the Custom had latches. Of course the hard bags on the Standard do, but I didn't know that about the Custom's leather bags.
