Got some rush pipes with1 3/4" baffels for my 08 Flht. Guess I must be gettin old cause the pipes sure sound loud on long runs. Got used to the FatCats on the WG I had but for some reason these mufflers seem to rumble louder all the time.
Wished I had of gotten supertrapp slip in pipes.

 

I had the Rush's with the 1.75 baffles and found them too loud also. Bought the 1.5 baffles and they quieted them down some (maybe 10-20%) but still just a little too loud when on the throttle.

 

I think they have 1 1/2" baffles for them. Could spend less than $75 for less sound for your rush than bigger bucks for a whole new set......

 

They did not offer the 1 1/2" baffel for my 08 touring bike in JPcycles.

I'm checking into Supertrapp now.

 

You can buy the 1.5 baffles from fuelmoto. I think they were about $60.I sold the 1.75 baffles through this forum.

 

Still going to look at Supertrapp for a quieter pipe. I will take the rush off and put the restricted stock HD pipes back on. Think I have a buddy that wants to hear them on his bike.
I usually go out and ride from mornin till nite with the wife. This is the reason I traded a built WG in on this bike.
