seafoam
I would try to contact the mnfg ? I went to store a bike and just put fresh oil in it and turned the engine over (with the plug wires detached) a few times, then put it on a lift. well a yr or so later I got rid of it anyway for more room in my garage. It can sit for decades like that. just remember air filter will self distruct and clog intake even if it was new, over long periods of time.
What's with all the Sea Foam questions? It's a fuel stabilizerplease don'tput it in your Harley oil bag.
On the other hand if you're putting it in your 52 Desoto thatstill uses non detergent 30Wgo ahead.

when seafoam is added to the motor oil does it thin the oil or can you add it and leave it alone or does the oil need to be changed.

I have used it in both two and four wheel vehicle's OIL [:-][:-][:-].
Even with fresh oil, if you add Sea Foam to it and your engine is dirty, the oil will go black in a matter of a few miles. Check out their comments on thatbulletin that covers oil "color".
So those who say you are wasting your money are WRONG unless you have a perfectly clean engine.
Many of us have PCIII's or SERTS's which richen up the AF mixture to cool off our engines - that in turn leads to more internal carbon.
All of the above comments were verified thru a Mechanical Enginner HD employee/friend of ours. He uses Sea Foam in his gas AND oil religiously. [:-][:-][:-][:-][:-][:-][:-][:-][:-][:-]

Adding it to your oil in my opinion is best around 500 miles before a change to clean out a dirty motor
