I didn't try it but got hits on the same question. I got one good and one the tabs on the sides broke. I sent a question to the seller about the tabs. He told me they now give a piece of foam to put with the tabs when mounting. I went with the Clearview and do not regret it.
swipter what tabs are you talking about? the extensions past faring? just order one waiting on delvery.
Yeah, that is what the guy replied to me in the message, however, another said the tabs on his were fine.
The foam was to cushion between the tabs where they go between fairing so they would be less likely to break. I got this from the guy on Ebay so don't shoot me if it is wrong.
It may be okay. I just didn't want to take the chance. I am not bad mouthing the shield just didn't want to chance it. Went with the Clearview...(which IMHO is REALLY EXPENSIVE) but I like it and am glad I did.
I think I might try one. I like the idea of pushing more wind around you especially now that winter is coming. I would like to know what the foam cushion is all about and how it looks when applied.

Just got the smoked clearview 8" with recurve today. Really a nice windshield. Finally found the perfect height for me and the SG.
