Customer Care
I know there have been alot of posts on here about bad customer service but let me tell you about a company mentioned here in this forum that definitely goes the extra mile. Mean City Cycles. I had the fortune to me Allen Austin today. I actually emailed him the other night about 9:00 pm thinking I would hear from him the next day at best. To my surprise he emailed me back about 10 minutes later. I called him the next day and explained that I was short and how could he help me. We talked about diferent options and hit on one that was probably best for me. I asked him about turn around time. I explained to him that I live in Charlotte. He told me if I drove up there and came byhe would do it while I waited. After picking up myself up off the floor I said I would be there Saturday. I rolled in at around 10:15. I was back out the door with my seat at about 11:30. The good thing is my seat doesn't even look like it was touched. He added 2" of comfort foam in it (to a Badlander seat) and you would never know it was in there. It sits just alittle lower but there is a definite improvement in back support and what feels like comfort. The jury is still out there because here in Charlotte it's an ugly day. It sits great though! I will ride the crap out of it and report back. In any event there needs to be more service oriented buisnesses like Mean City Cycles that care about their quality of workmanship and customer service. My hat is off to Allen Austin and Mean City Cycles. Great Job!!!!!
