Default winds again!!!!!!

Well the winds picked up again this evening.
Both routes from house to paved road a mile away are drifted in 2 and 4 foot drifts.
won't be getting the bike out any time soon now.dang near didn't get back to house from all bikers Christmas party in town.

HD dealer found my radio defective in late Oct.
Notified me a new one was in two weeks ago when the snow storms hit.
Say I MUST be in on Monday or radio goes back as HDMOCO is going to bill them $1k for the radio. If I don't get there radio goes back and it will no longer be done under warranty.
(I think it will be done though under warranty one way or another).
They offered to send their truck with a plow to get it, but I need to pay them $50 to do so.
ain't gonna happen.
Just another way the dealer and MOCO would like to shaft you!!

Seems like they would cut you some slack for the inclimate weather.
Choochoo I was looking for a 2 up docking hardware thread I thought you posted some time back, can you help me out? All my parts for the tour pak finally showed up so I'm getting ready to do the install.

It seems to me hard to believe that for $50 you couldn't seem to find your way to pay them to send a snowplow out to get your bike and clear your driveway ~~ in trade for a $1000 radio...? I mean, seriously Dood.... Its been two weeks ago and you still can't get out? Warranty is warranty, but it would cost you SOMETHING to get the bike there yourself EVEN IF YOU COULD, which you obviously can't.

Sounds like you're turning down an offer on a platter to me. Have a nice winter.

Ice and snow here, choochoo, so I feel yer pain. Told the wife tonight I'm already ready for Spring, but I still need to replace the cams on my bike, so plenty of time to do that before the big thaw!

Maybe you ought to take them up on their $50 offer versus having a busted radio. Hate to see them send the replacement back.
