Hottest - 103 of humid South Carolina heat

Coldest - Left Virgina for Daytona in 17 degrees. It didn't warm up to 32 until we got in the Carolinas.

The coldest I ever rode was when my first wife was on the back, don't care where or when that was the coldest.

I ride in the 20s. Heated gear makes riding in cold a non-issue if there's no snow/ice on the ground.

Coldest was going to a funeral for a VN vet, that was the manager of a local HD dealership. He was well known and highly respected in the local bike community and passed away suddenly of a heart attack. His wife invited the biking community and the PGR to come down. It was 7 degrees when I left for the funeral home that morning. Thankfully, it was only about a 20 mile trip. However, at that temp, even the smallest opening in your gear that lets in wind will leave you with the sensation that you've had a branding iron laid to the exposed flesh. I gotta give kudo's to my local bro's and ho's that day... even with the frigid temps there were about 35 bikes there to see David off in the manner he'd have wanted.

Coldest......probably mid 20s, when I was IN my 20s, on a sportbike with no heated gear.

Hottest? Ambient air temp of around 100..heat index somewhere around 112. Both suck, but I would rather be hot than cold.
