Any comments on tires? I have only used the HD dunlops. I am getting ready to have new ones put on and was wondering if anybody has comments on tires?

I had the police Dunlop and found it wears pretty fast on the rear. At or around 7k it neededa change. I got another 1.2k and it is in for a change now. Dealer said I did better than average. Im getting the regular Dunlop as a replacement at about $145, police tire about $155.

I wll try the Michelens in a few K , already had to switch out the rear dunlop after flat on the road, localdealerwho did the repair hadonly dunlops. Plan to change both over as soon as the front is worn. Got 9 k from the rear dunlop, now have 13+k on the front and it still looks good, at least 3 to 5 k left in it..

I am replacing my Dunlops with Michelins. I talked to a guy at the dealer and he stated that I should loose the
problem were the front wheel follows the tar lines in the road.

the Metzeler ME880s made a big difference on my Standard. I'll buy them again.

I have about 1K on the Michelins on my Ultra now. They seem to grab better in the turns and you will find yourself going a little faster then on the Dunlops. Not sure if they are more "curved", but the front end it easier to turn at slow speeds and first couple of times you have to watch out over controlling it compared to the Dunlops. Smoother ride. And does not follow the road snakes, but if there is a good one, they will "shudder" and go straight where the Dunlop will go with it.

With the Dulops, I was getting 11K on the rear, and 24K on the front. Will be interested on what these will do.
