Hey guys,
Looking for info/opinions. I have an 07 RKC and I am looking to add the following:new exhaust, air cleaner and fuel mapping system.
I am going back and forth with the Rinehart True Duals and the BUB 2-2 Seven w/o crossover. With the air cleaner I am looking at the Arlen Ness Big Sucker Stage I or II...what is the difference...any opinions on other air cleaners. And for the mapping the PC III. With what I have already read on this forum during the past 6 months this is what I have narrowed it down to. Thanks in advance for the input guys.
Phil

Ness (They'll both work but the Stage 2 sticks out a bit more)
I think I would go with the ThunderMax with auto tune (no need for dyno) over the PCIII
To me is not about been different, is going with what seems to work better for my application. I am going with rineharts true duals and and the screaming eagle heavy breather, screaming eagle race tuner and get the bike tuned on a dyno, you will be extremely happy......
Same as big_al. I just wanted what i though would work the best. For me just changed pipes, a/c, and went with the sert and dyno. I like the idea of someone who knows how to tune it right the first time. Did not want a hang-on device as i don't plan on changing anything else. If i do i will dyno again. Small price to pay and no laptop needed. I say anything with a K&N filter will work great. I do like that SE heavy breather but i have lowers. Pick the exhaust that you like the most and you will be happy. The numbers are just to small to worry about which one is best.
Put on what you like just make certian you use the SERT and the dyno to tune it.
I have the Big Sucker 2 and I dont think it sticks out any farther than the stock filter did, they just turned the filter upside down so the narrow part is at the and the wide part is at the top which makes the filter have more square inches of filter material which meansyour bike can breath easier, you also have to use a differant air cleaner cover with the Big Sucker2 the Big Sucker1 you can use the stock air cleaner cover.

Not tryin to be a hater but I agree Rineharts are everywhere and In my opinion the true dual system ain't that great. I think my thunderheaders drown out the Rineharts when they are next to me. And the torque curve sucks. lets not forget about those fabulous orange, purple and brown tips.
I have the same bike and I went with the V & H Big Shot True Duals - for the clean 1-piece look, the Ness B/S Stage 1, and since I'm not planning on any other engine mods, I went with the V & H Fuel Pak. No Dyno, no expensive ECM and did it myself so I saved a bunch of cash and bought a real nice J & S jack so thatI can clean the white walls pretty easy.
