Default Headlight trim ring removal

Is there a secret to removing this ring?
I took the phillips screw out from the bottom
and cant budge the ring I'm trying to remove the bra
from the batwing and thats all thats holding me up
if you guys got any suggestions that would be great.

Pull harder, that thing really fits tight! The one screw on the bottom is the only one andthe trim ringneeds to come out from the bottom.

The trim ring has a spring clip at the 12 o'clock position that hooks into the headlamp mounting bracket. Push the trim ring up as far as you can (it won't be much), then pull it straight out--it's been a long time since I removed mine, but pulling harder is essential. Hope to read that someone has an easier, simpler solution.
