i just lowered the glide, added some new mufflers and polished the front forks, im considering new pipes and a tuner, mainly a tuner. what is a recomendation for one and it also need to be dependable, next is a solo seat and that shoould hold me over for a couple of months, thanks
How much moola you looking to spend on a tuner? What, if any, mods to plan on doing down the road in way of engine/cams, etc? These are some things that will influence your decision. If you're doing nothing but pipes and A/C and you don't want to drop a lot of cash, you might consider Fuelpak. If you want more mods and still don't want to spend too much, consider PCIII. I personally would go with the SERT but it costs a little more. Then if you really want to spend some cash and get a good setup, consider the Thundermax or DTT units.
Any better pics of the slam job. I really want to put my glide down low too. What kit did you use? Nice looking glide you got there; even if it aint black
dawg- im planning on a 113-120 motor this winter, thus the pipes and tunerworkd4it - i will get some pics as soon as i get back to town and send them to you as well as post them here on the forum.
im leaning toward a thundermax tuner and a truel dual set of pipes. and a jims motor what do ya'll think.
I have the T-max and really love it. Makes so much sense to spend the extra bank to be able to save money in the long run doing the tuning yourself. JMHO guys at Zippers are super and the info you can get in here is TOTALLY worth it. Good luck - and I'd like to see those pics myself
I too am thinking of lowerng my glide with addition of 21" wheels upfront. So any information & (pics)on handling and ride after lowerig would be appreciated.
